Lucky Pharaoh Demo: What It Shows and What It Hides

In short: The Lucky Pharaoh demo is Blueprint Gaming's own free client that starts every session on 1,000.00 credits with no currency. The game's printed return and its Power Spins offer can be checked without staking anything.

The free version runs in Blueprint Gaming's demo client, which we describe here but do not link, and opens at a 1.00 bet. It lets you step through 14 bet levels from 0.20 to 100.00. We used it on to check the game's numbers on this site. Most checks take a few minutes; the Power Spins ones wait for a win of 4x the bet.

Game:
Lucky Pharaoh (an online MERKUR slot built by Blueprint Gaming)
Type:
Slot game
RTP as published:
94%, printed by the game itself, with a second figure of 96.25% for Power Spins.
Max win:
250,000.00 or 50,000 times the total bet, whichever is lower, as the rules screen prints it: "The maximum win from a single game is: 250,000.00 / x50,000 total bet".

What the Free Demo Gives You

The demo has one input, the total bet, and every other figure follows from it. Ten lines are fixed, so the line bet is always the bet divided by 10, and each paytable figure is multiplied by that line bet.

Three sums cover what the demo shows. A line win equals the paytable multiple times the line bet, so three rubies at a 1.00 bet pay 60 × 0.10 = 6.00. The win limit is the lower of 250,000.00 and 50,000 times the bet. A Power Spins offer opens once a win reaches four times the bet, and the cheapest Power Spin costs that same amount.

Where the Free Demo Runs

The free Lucky Pharaoh runs in Blueprint Gaming's own demo launcher, client 1.6.0.0, and it plays in credits only. Blueprint has no public page for the game, so no studio page with an 18+ check stands in front of the launcher. For that reason we describe it here but neither embed it nor link to it.

The right client is easy to recognise. The loading screen carries the MERKUR sun logo beside Blueprint Gaming's mark, a DEMO PLAY ribbon sits over the reels, and the rules screen ends with "Game version: 1.6.0.0". Loaded on , it opened straight onto the base game at a 1.00 bet, holding 1,000.00 credits.

Read the RTP on the Rules Screen

The rules screen prints "RTP=94%" for the base game and "Power Spins RTP=96.25%" for the feature, with "Game version: 1.6.0.0" underneath. Those two figures belong to two modes of one build, not to two editions of the game.

Read the second one with care. A Power Spin is bought with a win that COLLECT would bank in full, so 96.25% on that stake returns 3.75% less, on average, than collecting. The screen doesn't say which choice the 94% assumes, and neither will we.

Step the Bet and Watch the Limit

Stepping the bet changes the line bet and leaves the limit line word for word the same. We did exactly that. At 1.00 the screen read "the current line bet 0.10", at 100.00 it read 10.00, and "250,000.00 / x50,000 total bet" stayed put. What moves is which half of that line binds.

5.000.50250,000.00
100.0010.00250,000.00, or 2,500x

At the top bet the money figure caps a win at 2,500 times the stake, well below the 50,000x printed beside it. A small oddity turned up on the way down, too. The server's start-up message gives a minimum stake of 0.10, yet the client has no 0.10 button and starts at 0.20.

Check a Line Win Against the Paytable

Any line win, divided by the line bet, should land on a paytable figure. Our three rubies paid 6.00 at a 1.00 bet. That is 60 line bets of 0.10, exactly the ruby figure for three of a kind. Run the same sum on the X5000 full screen of diamonds and it comes to 500.00 at 1.00: 500x the bet, not the 5,000x one German casino prints.

Take One Power Spins Offer

Keep spinning at 1.00 until a win of 4.00 or more opens the offer, then read the price buttons before choosing. With 6.00 on the table the panel offered one Power Spin at 4.00 and nothing else. After a 16.00 win it offered four at 4.00, and the plus button unlocked two at 8.00, one at 12.00 and one at 16.00. We took the 6.00 offer once to watch it through; 4.00 went into the spin and the other 2.00 came back.

Patience helps here. In our 101 spins the offer opened three times, at spins 21, 37 and 101.

Count the Four Reel Sets in the Demo

A single Power Spin turns four reel sets at once, and the demo shows all four grids on screen. In ours a stack of logos landed on one reel and settled as three kings. Diamonds came down in another set, and all four paid 0.00.

The offer panel had promised a top of 2,000.00 for that 4.00 spin while the server listed 500.00. Those only add up if the screen sums all four sets, and no document says it does.

What the Demo Cannot Show

Free play leaves several questions out of reach. Currency is the first: the server sends an empty currency code, so the demo never says what 250,000.00 is counted in. A casino's copy is the second. The build we played answers from a server marked jurisdiction RS, with Blueprint's UK compliance switched off, which is a fact about the demo and nothing more.

Volatility and hit rate aren't published either. A session like ours (101 spins, seven of them winning) is a sample, not an estimate of either one.

The demo has weak spots of its own, too. Its offer screen and its server print different top prizes for a Power Spin, and nothing explains the gap. Its bet list skips the 0.10 its own server announces. Nothing in front of it checks a player's age.

We do not recommend the demo to anyone hoping to measure the game's return: 101 spins, or a few thousand, cannot pin down a 94% figure, and our 71.00-credit loss says nothing about it. Everything the demo shows is a reading of the rules, not a forecast.

A Free Demo Takes No Stake

Free play takes no stake, and that is what sets it apart from gambling: the credits carry no currency, have no cash value and vanish when the session ends. Whether the same game may be played for money depends on the law where you live. This guide names no casino and no way around those rules.

If free sessions start to feel like rehearsal for money play, help costs nothing. Gambling Therapy, run by Gordon Moody, answers anyone online, Gamblers Anonymous lists meetings through its finder, and the local helpline where you live is another door.

Key Terms Used on This Page

Demo credits
Play money with an empty currency code; the free client starts each session at 1,000.00 of them.

The total bet split over 10 fixed lines: 0.02 at the 0.20 minimum and 10.00 at the 100.00 maximum.
Rules screen
The client's GAME RULES page, printing RTP=94%, Power Spins RTP=96.25% and the win limit for version 1.6.0.0.

One five-by-three grid of symbols; a Power Spin turns four of them at once and costs at least four times the bet.

This site takes no deposits and runs no identity checks.

What Else Do Readers Ask?

These are the practical questions that come up around a free session. They cover whether the balance resets, what the credits are worth, and the true minimum stake. Answers come from the client itself and from the server's replies we logged.

Does the credit balance reset?

Yes, the balance resets when the session does and starts again at 1,000.00 credits, so a losing run in free play carries over nowhere and costs nothing.

Can play-money credits be cashed out?

No, the credits carry an empty currency code and have no cash value. They exist only inside the session, whatever the balance shows when it ends.

What is the smallest stake in the client?

The smallest stake is 0.20. The server's start-up message lists 0.10, but no button offers it, and the bet list begins at 0.20.

Is the no-stake copy identical to a cash copy?

No, not provably. The demo's rules screen prints version 1.6.0.0 with 94% and 96.25%; we have not seen a real-money copy, so this stays unconfirmed.

How did we test this demo?

One session on covered 101 paid spins at 1.00, both rules screens, and server replies on file for spins 21 to 101 plus the Power Spin.
